INFORMATION SCIENTISTS
Salary Scale: £25,411 - £33,150 plus shift allowance based on hours worked and attractive benefits package.
MTIS provide 24 hour telephone information and support services to the pharmaceutical, veterinary and medical professions. We provide:
- Clinical trials support
- Medicines information and other related services
- Veterinary poisons information
We are looking for enthusiastic, resourceful individuals to help us expand and develop our services. You will join a committed and highly skilled team providing an emergency response service to telephone enquiries from healthcare and veterinary professionals. You will be a graduate in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing or veterinary medicine / nursing, with a proven interest in pharmacology, toxicology or information science.
Previous work experience is essential, preferably gained in the pharmaceutical industry or veterinary sector. Experience of working in a team and providing an information service would be useful.
You should possess excellent communication skills and be keen to develop your skills and knowledge as you will be working across multidisciplinary services. You will also be required to work an unsocial hours rota, including night-shifts.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
